CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme 2026
Interest-free financing for electric and petrol bikes, aimed at students, teachers and government employees across Punjab — the government covers the markup, you pay in easy monthly installments.
Who can apply
The scheme now runs in parallel tracks for students, government teachers and government employees, with quotas reserved by gender and district.
Students
Age 18 or above, regularly enrolled at an HEC-recognised university or degree college, and holding a valid motorcycle learner’s permit or driving license. Virtual/distance-learning enrolments are not covered.
Teachers
Government school teachers can apply through the Punjab Teachers Foundation portal using their PESS number and a valid service certificate.
Government employees
A newer category opened in later phases, extending the same interest-free financing to serving government staff.
Location
Launched first in five districts; later phases have widened coverage to the rest of Punjab, with quotas allocated at the divisional level.
How the financing works
Bikes are selected from an official catalogue on the portal; the Bank of Punjab finances the purchase and the government pays the markup.
How to apply
The process is entirely online — no office visit, no agent, roughly 10–15 minutes if your documents are ready.
Register on the portal
Students use bikes.punjab.gov.pk; teachers use ptf.punjab.gov.pk. Sign up with your CNIC, an active mobile number and email, then verify with an OTP.
Fill in your details
Enter personal, academic (or service) and contact information exactly as it appears on your documents.
Upload documents
Clear scans of your CNIC/B-Form, institute or service ID, and learner’s permit or driving license.
Choose your bike
Pick an electric bike, petrol bike, or scooty from the catalogue shown on your dashboard.
Submit and wait for balloting
If applications exceed the quota, selection is by electronic balloting, followed by verification from the Bank of Punjab.
Documents to keep ready
Incomplete or blurry uploads are the most common reason applications get rejected — prepare these before you start the form.
- CNIC / B-Form copy
- Student ID or service/PESS certificate
- Valid learner’s permit or driving license
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Proof of enrollment (for students)
- Guarantor details, if requested by BOP
Before you apply
Quotas, catalogue models, deadlines and portal details are updated by the Government of Punjab from time to time. Always confirm the current phase, deadline and required documents on the official portal — bikes.punjab.gov.pk for students, or ptf.punjab.gov.pk for teachers — before submitting your application. For financing queries, the Bank of Punjab helpline is 042-111-333-267.
