The Office of the Ombudsperson (Mohtasib) Punjab was established under the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010. Qualification & Experience Details
1. Assistant Director (IT) Master’s degree (16 years) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university. Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in software development, ideally in the public sector. Practical experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, databases, and system integration required. Preference for candidates with team-lead experience on major IT/software projects.
2. Data Processing Officer 16 years of education in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Second Division) from an HEC-recognized university. At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a related discipline (public or private sector).
3. Network Technician BS/MSc (16 years, Second Division) in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. At least 3 years’ experience designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructure.
4. Law Officer LL.B (minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university, with 5 years’ practice as an Advocate in High Court and lower courts. Experience preparing pleadings, legal documentation, and court submissions. Must be proficient in MS Office.
5. Assistant / Legal Assistant LL.B (Second Division) or related degree, with at least 3 years’ experience supporting court documentation, case diaries, and legal correspondence.
6. Law Internee LL.B degree from an HEC-recognized institution. Preference for fresh graduates interested in litigation and legal drafting.
7. IT Internee Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT from an HEC-recognized institution.
8. Media Internee BBA / MA or 16 years of education in any discipline. Preference for candidates with social media handling experience.
9. Stenographer Intermediate (Second Division). Shorthand speed of 70 WPM (English) and typing speed of 35 WPM.
10. Junior Computer Operator Intermediate (Second Division). English typing speed 40 WPM; Urdu typing speed 25 WPM.
11. Junior Clerk Intermediate (Second Division). English typing speed 40 WPM.
12. Driver Matric, with a valid LTV/HTV driving license. Sound knowledge of traffic rules. Medically fit with good eyesight.
13. Naib Qasid Middle pass from a recognized school/board.
14. Chowkidar (Faisalabad) Middle pass from a recognized school/board.
15. Sanitary Worker Literate.
16. Cook-cum-Khansama (Lahore) Literate. Preference given to female candidates.
17. Caretaker (Faisalabad) Matric. Preference given to female candidates.
18. Sweeper (Faisalabad) Literate. Preference given to female candidates.
